Treatment Specialties

Nutrition for Wellness

Nutrition must be individualized to fit with your unique schedule, culture, and personal preferences. I will help you create a simple and realistic strategy for nutrition and physical activity. Extreme and fad diets don’t work, are not sustainable, and often compromise your health long term. Balance, support, and consistency have helped me maintain a healthy weight for over 20 years after my own 65 pound weight loss.

Cardiovascular Health

My family history of heart disease sparked my interest in healthful eating. Now, I work with clients to lower their cholesterol and manage their blood pressure so they can enjoy their families for years to come. Simple modifications in diet and lifestyle are things we can control to reduce the risk of heart disease. Our health need not be determined by our genetics alone.

Peri-Menopause & Menopause

This time of life causes big changes for women with hormone fluctuations that impact metabolism. Let's work on accepting the normal changes in your body and focus on mindful eating and regular physical activity, particularly weight-bearing activities that maintain muscle and bone mass.

Fitness and Sports Nutrition

As a 50+ athlete with a Master's Degree in Sports and Exercise Science: Strength & Conditioning, and a mother who raised three female athletes, I have an insider's understanding of nutrition's role in living an active lifestyle, achieving peak physical performance, and optimizing recovery. My approach to fueling is not only practical but also supports progress without increasing stress or restriction.

Lactation Support

I have spent years offering lactation support as a retired La Leche League Leader and Certified Lactation Counselor. The most common areas I help address are Infant position and latch, milk supply, nipple pain, breast pain, mastitis, pumping, and storage of breast milk. A favorite of mine is prenatal nutrition counseling. Get your nutrition on track and prepare for your baby's first nutrition too!

Family Nutrition

As a mother of three daughters I understand the challenges of providing healthy nutrition for every member of your family. I've worked with dozens of families to tackle common nutrition obstacles; picky eating, transitioning baby to solid foods, food allergies or intolerances, and time constraints. I've got professional and practical experience to help you solve your family's mealtime issues.

No, your plan’s coverage determines the visits that are covered. Many of our premium services are not covered by insurance. However, I have designed a special membership package which includes the added support you need to get the most immediate results.

Through extensive training, dietitians acquire the expertise to provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and nutritional counseling tailored to meet an individual’s needs. This includes a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited university program, 1200 hours of supervised practice, and a passing score on the national board examination in order to become credentialed and obtain state licensure. In addition, continuing education hours are required to remain credentialed.

In New Hampshire and Massachusetts dietitians are the only nutrition professionals who can legally give personalized nutrition advice. Licensure protects public safety as there is no standardized requirement to call yourself a nutritionist or health coach. Working with a registered dietitian is the only way to ensure you are working with a designated nutrition expert.

Yes, I am licensed in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. I can offer nutrition counseling in many states, however, if you require medical nutrition therapy we may need to acquire licensure in your state.
